What is Shubal Store?

Many people ask "Why Shubal?" Named the store in honor of Shubal Stearns. Shubal Stearns, was a colonial evangelist and preacher during the Great Awakening. He was the pastor of Sandy Creek Baptist Church in North Carolina in the early to mid 1700s. He helped to train many young preachers who went out and helped found the Bible Belt across the souther USA.

Shubal is a family-run Christian business. We do not accept compromise when it comes to our Biblical convictions. Everything we carry, every partnership we form, and every decision we make is filtered through the Word of God. You will always know where we stand.

Who we are

We are a missionary family, dedicated to spreading the love of God around the world. God put it on our hearts to start a business where Christians can go and find good quality Christian merchandise. We partner with Christian authors and businesses to help shine God's light.

We are not a box store. We exist to serve the Body of Christ — and that means we stand with pastors, missionaries, and like-minded believers who share our faith and standards. We help fellow Baptist pastors and missionaries with their small businesses, connecting them with the wider Baptist community and giving their work the platform it deserves.

Our family

We are raising a family of six boys, and we want what is best for them. We are homeschooling them to help keep them unspotted from the world. Our desire and goal is to train them up to be men of God — men who have not just a desire, but also the skills to serve God as mighty soldiers in the faith.
